This performance is going to demonstrate my 8MO concept and erotica as an art form very similar to martial arts. The concept of erotic arts arrives from the arena of BDSM/S&M. The title "Erotic Arts" is what I like to use to soften the image of S&M which has been badly misrepresented by Hollywood time and again as something non-consensual, undisciplined and unorganized. I want to paint a new face that shares the consensual, disciplined, organized, sensuous, graceful, safe, trusting, both arousable & rousingly sinister, willingly submissive image of ourselves. Analyzing our human nature with a look in the mirror to met ourselves for the first time. To acknowledge the good and bad person that we are and embrace it to establish self management on the path to balance.The nature of erotic arts requires privacy and discretion in an intimate setting which is why this show tour will be performed exclusively on the intimate stage of black box theaters. Each performance is 1 hour and 45-50 minutes in run time. This production is brand new and the show will start running in VA for the first month and a half with 2 shows per night Saturday and Sunday and may be subject to change with increased demand. In the months to follow as the show gains in presence the production will tour all year round.

Auditions
What we need are dancers with skills in body and facial expression. Martial art forms would be a plus but is not required. Dancers interested in auditioning age restrictions apply, preferably 21 and up. All female and male applicants are invited to audition individually as well as duos or 3 part teams. If you plan to audition as a duo or 3 part team each applicant must incorporate a 5 to 10 second solo with the team routine, unless additional members are only to aid your creativity. What you need is a 3 to 4 minute routine equal to the length of a standard audio recording of your choice. An erotic piece is preferable. Your routine can be as simple or as intricate as you like. Necessary for this performance is eroticism, passion, expression with sensuous movement and sex appeal. Your ability to express words and ideas from your movements and facial expressions is desired. A good reference is the "Opening night" scene and "Satan's Alley" the final dance scene from Sylvester Stallone's movie "Staying Alive" with John Travolta or Rihanna's music video "Te Amo". Both can be found on YouTube to aid in creating your audition routine. If you are unable to make it to open call an online video of what you can do can serve as your audition. IN STATE AND OUT OF STATE APPLICANTS
Applicants with Virginia residence is preferred due to mandatory weekly rehearsals to be announced at a later date. Please be advised getting to rehearsal and showtime will be your responsibility until further notice if you reside in another state. Also be advised your pay rate will not begin until the show is active on stage following 2 to 3 months of rehearsals. It would be wise to carefully calculate if you are an out of state resident. Your decision to be a part of this production should be based on a plan that is less in expense preceding showtime with a greater benefit following showtime. So once your pay rate is determined your travel expenses to and from Virginia during rehearsals should be weighed against what you will make from showtime once the show is active. If your pay rate from showtime(s) calculates a greater benefit verses your out of pocket expense during rehearsal time or vice verse you should make a decision accordingly that is in your best interest. However our contract does present an incentive program for your commitment should you decide you want to be a part of this production for both in state and out of state residents.
Pay Rates
Each performer will be paid a flat rate. Rate negotiation will start at $100 per performance. Pay rates will vary for each performer. Your experience will determine your rate. Things we'll look for, but are NOT required are marketing (official website, portfolio, internet presence) and audience if applicable. Another area of interest is self investment. (merchandising, guest appearances) If you don't invest in yourself why would anyone else want to pay you!
